Expected earnings and hours
The top of Insights shows expected earnings from your logged shifts, next to the hours worked. Payments you have actually received are recorded separately.
Hours worked
The hours in the week, month, or year you are viewing.
Expected earnings
Calculated from the shifts you log. This can include regular pay, overtime, tips, and bonus. It is not money you have already been paid.
Compared with the previous period
See whether your hours and expected earnings are ahead of, behind, or close to the previous period.

If the current period is still underway, the comparison uses the same elapsed part of the previous week, month, or year. These are comparisons of work you have logged. Insights does not predict what you will earn next.
Earnings chart
Insights includes a line chart of expected earnings. Tap or drag across it to inspect a point. A point can show the expected earnings and hours for that day, week, or month, along with context such as the average and the strongest stretch.

Expected vs received
When a payday is scheduled, ShiftGoal can place the expected amount next to the payment you've recorded so you can quickly see whether they match.
You record the payment. ShiftGoal does not retrieve it from an employer or a bank. A year view can summarize the paydays that were scheduled and the ones you recorded.

The amount ShiftGoal calculated for that payday.
Received
The payment you recorded. ShiftGoal does not collect it for you.
Not recorded, or not due yet
A payday can be waiting on a payment, or still be ahead.

Work expenses and projected net
See where your work expenses are going, and how the total compares with the previous period when a comparison is available.
Projected net is expected earnings minus work expenses. It is not cash you have received, and it is not take-home pay. A recorded payday can show a separate actual net for that pay period.
