ShiftGoal helps you log the hours you work, understand what you expect to earn, record payments you have received, record work-related expenses, and see progress toward an income goal. You can also view work on a calendar and review patterns in Insights. ShiftGoal does not process wages, and it does not connect to a payroll service or a bank.

ShiftGoal uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services to store and sync your ShiftGoal data. Your records are stored in your private iCloud database. This website does not hold those records.

Yes. You can record more than one workplace. Insights can show how hours and expected earnings are split across those workplaces. ShiftGoal does not connect to an employer.

An income goal is a target you set in ShiftGoal. The app shows how expected earnings from your logged shifts compare with that target, including whether you are ahead of, on, or behind the pace of the goal. Pace is not a prediction. ShiftGoal does not create the income.

Work expenses are costs you record against your work. Insights can subtract them from expected earnings to show projected net. Projected net is not cash you have received. This is a personal record of your work, not accounting or tax software.

Insights shows expected earnings and hours from the shifts you log, work expenses, projected net, recorded payments, workplaces, and goal progress. You can review a week, a month, or a year. It describes work you have already logged. It does not predict future income.
